The Fanatical Stupidity of Liberals With ‘Suicidal Empathy’

The ideologically-driven stupidity of leftists has been remarked many times, whether on declaring that eunuchs in dresses are real women and can get pregnant, getting the Covid vaccines two, three, four times and still becoming infected with Covid, or the blue-haired Karens with their cow-like rings in their noses. This stupidity is due to fanaticism, and fanaticism tends to halve a person’s IQ.

The above are all bizarre. Equally bizarre are those with “suicidal empathy,” a deadly variation of the Stockholm Syndrome. I first became aware of this bizarre mentality decades ago, during the anti-apartheid crusade era. A blonde American girl slumming in one of the townships of South Africa, supporting the anti-apartheid movement had stones and bricks thrown at her. She fled, tripped, and was stabbed to death by the noble native inhabitants she sought to help. Her parents then flew over to South Africa to hug her killers and to tell them there were no hard feelings and that they still supported their anti-apartheid struggle. They were very virtuous.

A stupid Scottish woman, described as a “humanitarian” who liked to help “asylum seekers” ended up dead and her body stuffed inside a suitcase by a Muslim from Afghanistan.

The savages were sentenced to 18 years but were given amnesty a few years later. Her parents, along with her sisters, were there to support the amnesty, and went on to give a talk, “Extending the Boundaries of Human Rights.” They then established the Amy Biehl Foundation with a $500,000 grant from USAID that doles out $5,000 to individuals. The parents hired two of the murderers to work in the foundation. They were, indeed, very virtuous.

Here are other more recent instances:

A purse snatching by a black thug resulted in the death of a woman. The criminal only got seven years (actually less, with inevitable parole). Her family said the sentence was fair, stating, “We know that Jen would not want someone involved in her death, whether complicit or not, to waste away in prison for decades, and we take some comfort in knowing Ishmael has a chance to repair some of the harm he has caused.” Equally sickening was the defense attorney’s statement, who declared that the thug would honor the memory of his victim. “We are so hopeful that the conversation about restorative justice will continue within the Oakland community.” The victim was also an activist. She was intent on making a difference.

A white woman who was a founding member of the Ann Arbor Independent Community Police Oversight Commission and worked for the homeless, intent of wanting to make a difference, was killed and sexually molested by a black ex-con.

A white woman, described as a life-long activist, and a member of the Sierra Club Sangamon Valley Group, the Springfield Immigrant Advocacy Network, and Faith Coalition for the Common Good, was killed by an illegal alien from Mexico. She was intent on making a difference.

In Ireland, an African immigrant attempted to cut an Irishman’s head off and the victim’s family and others reassured everyone that the real danger is not the group of people committing these types of crimes, but the backlash against the illegal immigrants.

An anti-ICE, pro-Palestine American white woman in Ireland thought she would show how virtuous and broadminded she was by having a Palestinian man for a boyfriend who beat her to death.

A white elderly couple in Mississippi demonstrated how kind and compassionate they were by hiring a black teenage thug with a criminal past to do some work. He killed them. They were intent on making a difference.

An NYU student who was once raped stated that it was her conviction that rapists should not be imprisoned.

Recently, 60,000 Muslims suddenly invaded Spain. A white woman is seen welcoming them and urging them on. They then began to break into homes and set fire to cars. When some of the invaders were expelled, a group of Spaniards, mostly women, handed out food and drinks.

It is well known that Muslims despise homosexuality. Some want them all dead. In Berlin, a Muslim drove a car through a Pride festival. Several women spoke out that Muslims weren’t the real danger but white men are, while others felt sad the criminal was a Muslim and not a white Christian.

I hope I may be forgiven for saying this, but I find the following laughable: A white woman, outraged the reports of rapes in Haiti were overstated, went there “committed to preserving the dignity of Black men in a world which constantly stereotypes them as violent savages.” She was immediately raped, brutally so (as Georg Hegel said, “If theory and facts disagree, so much the worse for the facts”). She then wrote an essay blaming her rape on- — you guessed it — white supremacy and white patriarchy — and stated she was grateful for her experience. “I want to remind them [everyone] of the many great contributions that Afro-descendants have made to this world.” She didn’t mention any. Obviously, she, too, was intent on making a difference.

An illegal alien from Mexico, “looking for a better life,” killed an Iowa student who was against deporting illegal immigrants. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren told the family that they should focus on the poor migrants instead of their daughter. CNN commentator Symone Sanders and Rekha Basu, independent of each other, blamed the killing on “toxic masculinity.” Well, the parents also didn’t think that illegal immigrants were the problem. In fact, the mother afterwards invited another illegal immigrant to live with her. She was intent on making a difference.

The issue of rape has always been an obsession with feminists. Yet, a feminist was raped by a black man from a Third World country and Da Sistahs prevailed upon her not to raise a stink about it because — the rapist was a black man from a Third World country and you know how it is: there is an undeserved stereotype that black men are rapists. So she did not. She was intent on making a difference.

A virtuous German family, overflowing with compassion took in a Muslim to live in their house. They were intent on making a difference. The Muslim then screamed at them that it was now his house while threatening them with a knife. In the video one can see the German still being kind and virtuous, trying to reason with the vicious perp.

In a NYC subway a couple is stalked by a black man, who kicked the man. The soy boy ran away, leaving the woman behind to fend for herself and was grabbed by the assailant but managed to run away to nearby police. However, she refused to press charges because she “didn’t want to put another black man in jail.” She was intent on making a difference. The noble black man later murdered a retired teacher.

The pattern in all these cases should be obvious. However, there is something else to consider. During the Stalinist period, there were many, many instances of loyal Communists who had relatives sent to the gulag or executed, or who themselves were sent to the gulag; they remained fiercely loyal to the Party and to “dear Comrade Stalin.” They, like the liberals above, were unable and unwilling to realign their beliefs, their ideology, to conform with reality, with facts. As Gad Saad has said: “I am amazed at people’s unwillingness to deviate from their original anchored position even if I drown you in evidence to the contrary.”

Incidentally, I have noticed the very same mentality in many American Jews who support Palestinians, and, the importation of Muslims into America even as they chant for the deaths of all Jews and the destruction of Israel.

And lest any conservative reader becomes smug, let me state that some conservatives behave in the very same way when, proclaiming they are noble Christians, they engage in virtuous signaling by forgiving criminals for having killed a family member.

However, there are others who believe otherwise. As one girl posted on Instagram, “If someone kills me, I don’t want my killer forgiven. I want him, in turn, and everyone down to his sixth generation killed.”
