The change comes after Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a productive conversation at the 2026 NATO summit. It\u2019s hard to believe,\u201d and that Zelenskyy had \u201cdone an amazing job.\u201d He continued saying, \u201cLook, he\u2019s been very effective, and he\u2019s had the best equipment because he\u2019s had our equipment.\u201d This was deeply reassuring to Zelenskyy, who <\/span><span>commented<\/span><span>, \u201cAs long as Patriot missiles remain in our allies\u2019 stockpiles \u2026 Russia is only encouraged to keep \u2018vanquishing\u2019 residential buildings.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He emphasized the need to have these missiles distributed to Ukraine to ensure safety. The timing of the NATO summit came at a critical moment for Ukraine as Kyiv, the capital, was <\/span><span>attacked early on Monday, <\/span><span>and Ukraine was unable to intercept any of the 23 ballistic missiles. This attack only confirmed their <\/span><span>dire need<\/span><span> for more interceptors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Patriot missiles would help to <\/span><span>intercept Russian bombs<\/span><span> in the air, preventing casualties.
