W<\/span>hat are we guys? Life demands something heroic from us. I\u2019m not just talking about trying to light a barbecue in the rain, firing a gun made in another century, or setting up one of those modern tents designed to silently kill family men. It\u2019s something more than that. As men, we must be prepared for the most hostile century. Definitely, the most hostile century wasn\u2019t the one where we had girlfriends and Baywatch lifeguards with Jupiter-sized breasts were on TV all the time. The most hostile century for men is this one, the 21st century.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whenever I say this, people smile, thinking it\u2019s a joke. It\u2019s not. The Left is worried about the growth of incel communities. I\u2019m very glad. When the hell are they going to worry about the causes and not the consequences?<\/span><\/p>\n

The guys are at war. An example of this dirty war: Google translates most texts from English into Spanish using the feminine subject as the default. It\u2019s a damn disgrace, as well as an affront to grammar. Spanish has a feminine gender, a masculine gender, and another, now called the \u201cgeneric masculine,\u201d which shares the same form as the masculine gender but encompasses the feminine \u2014 something anyone who has received even the most basic early education knows how to identify and distinguish.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feminism, which has been fighting against official language academies for years, has challenged the generic masculine, and although it has not been abolished, the remnants of the subtle influence of technological manipulation are taking effect. Whatever timid academics say, I prefer to refer to that generic masculine as \u201cneutral gender.\u201d In any case, that grammatical form is not an offense to women. The predetermined feminine gender is an offense to men.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like that, there are a thousand other small wars against guys. But men must preserve their character, and that is incompatible with victimhood. Those who decide to start crying because the elites are expelling them from society just for being born male will not find me on their team. When a man feels under siege, he does not cry; he responds with an act of war, or with a courageous escape, like John Wayne walking toward the desert in a long shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Calm down. I\u2019m not suggesting you grab your rifle and start shooting. Besides, that\u2019s very unmanly. The war that men must wage is public, it is dialectical, and it is the most necessary battle if we want to save, above all, women. Let\u2019s talk about this once and for all: men have to be more masculine for the simple reason that, deep down, we all want women to be more feminine, starting with them. Only a masculine man can make room in society for a feminine woman. This attempt to feminize men and masculinize women destroys, in that order, girls and later \u2014 as we are now seeing \u2014 boys.<\/span><\/p>\n

That is how it is. Postmodern feminism wanted to socially assassinate boys, but in its war it actually took down the women it claimed to defend. We must proudly display the values of old masculinity, the same values that allowed the West to forge heroic histories for centuries, histories that could never have happened without the corresponding heroism of women.<\/span><\/p>\n

A man must be responsible and keep his word. A man must withstand any adversity with heroism. A man must fulfill his obligations, with a deep sense of duty, toward his wife, his family, his work, his community, and his country. A man must be honorable. And he must know how to control his emotions, which does not mean eliminating them, because that is not human. And finally, a man must be protective; nature made us strong for a reason, made us mentally more capable of following the right path without fear or mistrust. A man, in short, must provide security. The way men and women best complement each other, aside from what happens in bed, is in this exchange in which the man helps the woman feel more secure in her surroundings and in herself, while the woman provides the tenderness and sensitivity that, often in the heat of the moment, melts the man\u2019s heart, preventing him from becoming cold and mechanical.<\/span><\/p>\n

The discourses against what they call patriarchy have attacked these masculine values. Review them and tell me if you believe that a society with honorable, brave, responsible, and self-confident men is worse than a society with weak men, hiding like rabid dogs in the dark zone of social life, insecure, and consumed by a deep resentment against human nature. The truly dangerous man is weak. Never fear a strong man. And never stop being one.<\/span><\/p>\n
