H<\/span>ere we go again.<\/p>

The latest vote tallies from Los Angeles have found previously surging, buoyant, well-funded mayoral hopeful Spencer Pratt slipping into darkness. He is now in third place, behind weeping, underfunded, overlooked City Councilwoman Nithya Raman. Even further Left than far-Left Mayor Karen Bass, Raman practically conceded the race last week after seemingly losing the second spot to Pratt in November\u2019s two-candidate face-off.<\/p>

But wait.<\/p>

In a Hollywood-worthy plot twist, a sucking eddy of last-minute magic ballots\u00a0began to swirl\u00a0around Pratt after Election Day. As\u00a0we have seen all too often, the Republican or conservative contender who is poised to win slowly but surely gets pulled down as his margin of victory disappears, and he vanishes into a whirlpool of magic ballots.\u00a0(RELATED: What\u2019s Happening in Los Angeles Is an Exercise in Brute-Force Politics)<\/strong><\/p>

This provides yet another reason for the U.S. Senate to pass the damn SAVE America Act already.<\/p>

Senate GOP Leader John Thune of South Dakota is waiting for exactly\u2026what?<\/p>

SAVE would place major limits on the Democrats\u2019 promiscuous distribution of no-excuse, mass mail-in ballots. It would finally end the \u201ctemporary,\u201d \u201cone-time-only\u201d COVID-era practice of blasting unsolicited ballots, as if via fire hose, to every name on the voter rolls. Those sprayed with ballots have included foreign citizens, others who moved across town or out of state, and even Americans who relocated to Heaven or Hell. In fact, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon told Just the News in March that the Justice Department scrutinized only 16 states and discovered \u201chundreds of thousands of\u00a0dead people on the voter rolls.\u201d In September 2020, the Public Interest Legal Foundation found\u00a0\u00a0on 41 state voter rolls. In 2018, PILF concludes, 6,718 of these dead folks appear to have voted, down from 7,890 in 2016.<\/p>

Rather than this fine mess, SAVE would reintroduce what Americans once called \u201cabsentee ballots.\u201d Election officials would dispatch them only to the military, the homebound unwell, and those away on Election Day. And, yes, it should be Election\u00a0Day<\/em>, not Election Quarter.<\/p>

SAVE also would require that state and local officials scrub voter rolls clean of ineligible, relocated, or deceased voters. Ballot-integrity expert Jay Valentine has given himself a virtual tracheotomy from fruitlessly repeating that election authorities absolutely must scrutinize not just fishy names, but also unqualified\u00a0addresses<\/em>:<\/p>

Voters must be registered at residences, where human beings actually live. So, no more \u201cvoters\u201d enrolled at a\u00a0gravel-strewn vacant lot\u00a0in Las Vegas, another\u00a0patch of dirt\u00a0in Reno, an\u00a0empty homeless shelter\u00a0in Atlanta, commercial\u00a0warehouses in Mississippi, or\u00a0, the repurposed Culver City, California, back lot where Desilu Studios filmed CBS\u2019s Hogan\u2019s Heroes<\/em>\u00a0in the 1960s. (For real \u2014 in each of these instances and\u00a0thousands<\/em>\u00a0more.)<\/p>

Like a modern-day Cassandra, Valentine repeats this message via his\u00a0Omega4America Substack\u00a0and e-mail missives to honest-election activists: It is well past time for county clerks and state authorities to use quantum computing to cross-check names and, more important,\u00a0addresses<\/em>\u00a0on voter rolls against the U.S. Postal Service\u2019s change-of-residence registry, Social Security\u2019s death lists, catalogs of confirmed U.S. citizens, records of certified illegal aliens, property-tax documents, building-permit applications, drivers licenses, rosters of felons who may not vote, and other relevant government forms.<\/p>

Unqualified names can and should be challenged. However, Left-wing lawyers will rush in to defend every suspected fake voter, right down to those named Darth Vader or Daffy Duck. Such legal responses must be taken seriously and litigated by pro-clean-election attorneys, almost exclusively on the Right.<\/p>

But phony\u00a0addresses\u00a0have no constitutional rights<\/em>. It\u2019s far easier, faster, and\u00a0more effective\u00a0for election-integrity advocates to insist, for instance, on junking all 19 \u201cvoter\u201d registrations at\u00a0850 Oak Street NW\u00a0in Atlanta, specifically because it is a\u00a0deserted, decaying house\u00a0with busted toilets, collapsing ceilings, parched pipes, and zero residents.<\/p>

The SAVE America Act would go far toward ending such Fourth World election conditions. It would also require voters to show photo ID at the polls and, before that, mandate proof of American citizenship before registration. No less than former Democrat \u00a0U.S. citizenship verification. Confirming that voters are American is beyond farcical in California.<\/p>

Bill Essayli, Esq., the U.S. attorney for greater Los Angeles, is appalled at the vast potential for vote fraud, given registration \u201cstandards\u201d that are looser than a door hinge marinated in WD-40.<\/p>

\u201cCalifornia allows first-time voters to register using forms of ID that most Americans would find surprising,\u201d Essayli explained Sunday via X. These include, Essayli added: \u201cGym membership card, Employer ID card. Credit or debit card, Prescription drug label, Insurance card (California provides free health coverage to undocumented immigrants).\u201d Sensing that something stinks statewide, Essayli has launched a full federal investigation into Golden State vote fraud. And not one shady ballot too soon.<\/p>

Democrats treat\u00a0the SAVE America Act\u2019s\u00a0universally popular reforms as if Republicans aspired to throw gasoline and lit matches\u00a0at\u00a0the Star-Spangled Banner,\u00a0on\u00a0solemn display\u00a0in\u00a0the Smithsonian Institution. But photo ID, U.S. citizens-only ballots, and pristine voter rolls leave foreign eyebrows perfectly flat. The Associated Press on Monday night projected that Nithya Raman would take second place against Mayor Bass. However,\u00a0new\u00a0ballots\u00a0arrived on Tuesday night\u00a0and\u00a0still<\/em>\u00a0are being counted.\u00a0Albeit faint, Pratt still has a political pulse.\u00a0On Monday, via X, Pratt observed that \u201cthere\u2019s still hundreds of thousands of votes outstanding, and LA officials have given us the next 3 weeks to count!Let\u2019s git-r-dun!\u201d<\/p>

Indeed, as of Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles County Clerk reports that \u201cThe\u00a0estimate of outstanding ballots\u00a0to be processed is\u00a0148,100.\u201d That office has scheduled vote-count\u00a0\u00a0\u2014 24 days after polls closed!<\/p>

Spencer Pratt is likely going to be overtaken by far left Nithya Raman today. This graph shows the count on Election Day through last night.<\/p>

If the talented, refreshing, and inspiring Spencer Pratt somehow escapes the Democrats\u2019 whirlpool of magic ballots, Hallelujah. Los Angeles deserves and needs his energy, ideas, and leadership.<\/p>

However, if the magic ballots ultimately drown this Great Right Hope, then his dodgy defeat should catalyze a final, robust, and successful Republican push to pass the SAVE America Act and place it on President Donald J. Trump\u2019s desk for signature.<\/p>

Until that happy day for SAVE, the Right should focus on three words: \u201cFight, fight, fight!\u201d<\/p>
